Washington Avenue-Memorial Park is considered one of the most exciting and highly sought-after areas in Houston. This highly walkable area has everything you need right outside your door. Located just minutes from downtown and central to the city’s main thoroughfares, residents can enjoy a quick and painless commute via car, bus, or light rail.

The neighborhood offers a little something for all tastes and styles. A stroll down Washington Avenue will transport you past vibrantly painted street murals, and through an amazing assortment of trendy bars, restaurants, and coffee shops, where you can stop and shop at a local boutique or antique shop along the way. Museums and community theaters along the way will give you a taste of the eclectic culture that runs deep throughout the city.

Our community is located right on the main avenue, just a short half-mile to expansive Memorial Park, a 1500-acre urban park that is home to the Houston Arboretum and Nature Center. The park is features endless entertainment, such as a 3-mile long jogging trail, picnic areas, a swimming pool, and multiple sports fields. Also nearby is Buffalo Bayou, with endless shaded nature trails, guided boat tours, and over a hundred acres of scenic views.

The neighborhood is part of Houston Independent School District, and public schools include Memorial Elementary School, Hogg Middle School, and Lamar High School. There are also many private school options in the area.
